These sweet carrots are super easy and very tasty! We find that we make them more often than just when making a full Japanese dinner.

Ingredients
- 8 oz julienne carrots for ease, just get the pre-cut ones from the grocery
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon sake
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions
- Add the sesame oil to a skillet and heat until it shimmers
- Add carrots to the hot pan and sautee for one minute, allowing sesame oil to coat all
- Add sugar and continue sautee
- Add sake and soy, reduce to a glaze
- Remove to serving dish, top with sesame seeds
